    Abstract
    KEM Hospital Research Centre Pune, India, in collaboration with the Health Department, Zilla parishad, Pune, India, conducted an Implementation Research study titled 'Feasibility of implementation of simplified management of young infants with possible serious bacterial infection when referral is not feasible in tribal areas of Pune district, Maharashtra, India'. This document describes the data collected and analyzed in the study, published in manuscript in Plos One. The data includes two datasets. The first dataset describes the clinical features and history of sick young infants identified in the study and the second dataset describes their management. Both the datasets include data of 175 sick young children identified and managed between August 2017 and March 2019.
